Types of Stress

  • Stress - this is normal stress that go along with daily life.
  • Distress - this is harmful stress which should not be ignored. When it becomes a chronic one, our lifestyle, physical health and emotion can be seriously affected. Disease such as high blood pressure, heart disease, mental disease, gastric, muscular pain and stiffness, cancer and even infertility could be related to Distress.
  • Eustress - this is the helpful and healing stress which is good to us. a good example is physical exercises,  no doubt it’s stressful to the body but in long run it could actually helps the body to fight against those disease that caused by Distress.
